Kim Go-eun wins Grand Prize at 5th Blue Dragon Series Awards
Kim Go-eun wins the Grand Prize at the 5th Blue Dragon Series Awards, while Park Hae-soo and Shin Hye-sun take home Best Actor and Actress honors.
Actress Kim Go-eun has reached another career milestone, winning the Grand Prize at the 5th Blue Dragon Series Awards. Recognized for both her artistic depth and popularity, she moved the audience with a calm yet sincere acceptance speech.

At the ceremony held on the 31st at Incheon Paradise City, Kim expressed her overwhelming emotions while clutching her trophy. "I view this as an award that recognizes the time I spent running tirelessly through works like 'You and Everything Else,' 'The Price of Confession,' and 'Yumi's Cells,'" she said.
She continued her expression of gratitude, stating, "I am who I am today because I was able to work with great seniors. I hope to become that kind of senior to my juniors someday." She then vowed, "I have never once taken being an actor for granted. I will continue to move forward diligently to show new sides of myself in the future."
The Best Drama award went to TVING's 'The Legend of Kitchen Soldier,' while Netflix's 'Better Late Than Single' took home Best Variety Show, proving the high level of competition in this year's content.
The honors for Best Actor and Best Actress went to Park Hae-soo and Shin Hye-sun. Park won Best Actor for his powerful performance in ENA's 'Scarecrow,' while Shin took home Best Actress for her delicate emotional acting in Netflix's 'The Art of Sarah.'
The Supporting Actor and Actress awards also went to performers who elevated their respective productions. Yoon Kyung-ho from 'The Legend of Kitchen Soldier' won Best Supporting Actor, and Park Bo-kyung from 'The Art of Sarah' won Best Supporting Actress.
In the newcomer categories, Kim Jaewon from TVING's 'Yumi's Cells Season 3' and Jeon So-young from Netflix's 'If Wishes Could Kill' emerged as next-generation stars, winning Best New Actor and Best New Actress, respectively.
In the variety category, Kim Won-hun from Coupang Play's 'SNL Korea Season 8' and Kim Sook from Netflix's 'Driver: The Rival' won Best Entertainer. Joo Woo-jae and Jung Yi-rang won the Excellent Entertainer award, while Kyuwon 'Q' Kim and Shim Ja-yoon took home the Newcomer Entertainer awards.
Additionally, the ceremony featured several other honors: An Yu Jin won the Popular OST award; Go Youn Jung, Byeon Woo-seok, Yoo Jae Suk, and Lee Su-ji won the Marron Five Popular Star award; and Go Youn Jung also received the Global Icon with Laviere Cosmetics award.
This year's Blue Dragon Series Awards concluded as a celebration of diverse genres amidst the rapid growth of global streaming platforms, highlighted by Kim's Grand Prize win and the standout performances of various actors and entertainers.
