Layeon to join 'Dream to You' as a romantic dating show writer

Actress Layeon is set to undergo a new acting transformation as a dating show writer who believes in love more than anyone else in the new ENA Monday-Tuesday drama 'Dream to You'.

On the 10th, her agency FN Entertainment announced Layeon's casting in 'Dream to You,' stating, "Layeon, who has completed characters with various charms in every work, is expected to showcase a different color of acting in this project truly."

'Dream to You' is a romantic comedy that tells the story of genius film director Subeen Woo (Hwang In-youp), who returns after achieving his dreams, and Joo I-jae (Lee Hye-ri), a reporter living for survival while having forgotten her dreams due to the pressures of reality, as they meet again. The series is directed by Yu Seon-dong and written by Eunha, planned by KT Studio Genie, and produced by Contents Planner.

Choi Sa-rang, played by Layeon, is a writer for a dating program who enjoys reading romance novels and is more proactive about dating than anyone else. As her name suggests, she is a character who regards love as an important value in life, breathing vitality into the drama with her uniquely bright and cheerful personality.

In the drama, Choi Sa-rang accidentally encounters Seo In-wook (Lee Sang-yeob) and attempts to cast him on her dating program, only to find herself swept up in unexpected emotions. Her story of dreaming of a fateful love is expected to form another romantic axis, providing viewers with excitement and laughter.

Layeon has previously appeared in dramas such as 'Try: We Become a Miracle,' 'Crazy Love,' and 'Be Melodramatic,' demonstrating stable acting skills and the ability to portray unique characters. In this work, she is garnering anticipation for showcasing new charms through an even more lovely and lively character.

Meanwhile, the new ENA Monday-Tuesday drama 'Dream to You' will premiere on July 13 at 10 PM and will also be available to watch on Genie TV and TVING.
