Rhee Min-jung's unexpected blind date proposal after fender bender

Actress Rhee Min-jung showcased her witty charm by revealing a hilarious anecdote where she received an unexpected blind date proposal from a car owner following a minor fender bender. The situation, which she thought would end with simple accident processing, turned into an unexpected social invitation, leaving the studio in stitches.

On the YouTube channel of comedian Hwang Je-sung, which released a new video on the 10th, Rhee appeared as a guest to speak candidly about her daily life, family, and behind-the-scenes stories from her entertainment career.

Recalling a minor accident from her past, Rhee began by saying, "Even thinking about it now, it was a truly strange experience truly."

She explained the situation, saying, "In the past, while driving, there was a very light collision with the car in front. The other vehicle was a very expensive foreign car, and because my phone fell while driving, I tried to pick it up for a moment and hit the brakes a little late. It was a minor collision, just a 'bump.'"

She recalled, "Feeling so sorry, I got out immediately to apologize. The owner didn't get very angry either. They said, 'It wasn't a heavy collision, but let's exchange contact information just in case,' so we exchanged numbers and parted ways."

Rhee explained that she thought the matter was settled without much issue because there was almost no noticeable damage to the vehicle's exterior at the time.

However, an unexpected follow-up occurred.

Rhee made the cast burst into laughter when she revealed, "A while later, I received a call from the owner saying that the rearview camera had cracked. I naturally expected them to talk about repair costs, but suddenly they asked, 'My son attends Hanyang University; would you be interested in meeting him?'"

The studio erupted in laughter at the unexpected turn of events, and Hwang could not hide his astonishment.

Rhee added to the laughter, saying, "She was a person with a very good impression and spoke very politely, but it wasn't a situation where I could suddenly answer, 'Yes, I will meet him.'"

She confessed, "I told her I would, of course, send the repair costs for the rearview camera, but after that, I received one more text asking, 'By any chance, do you have a boyfriend?' It was such an unexpected situation that I was flustered."

In response, Hwang jokingly remarked with his signature wit, "Isn't it a relief that the lady made a move first? Or perhaps she was watching you through the rearview camera the whole time?" Rhee could not hold back her laughter while recalling the moment.
