Yoon Sun-woo and Kim Ga-eun reunite with PD who directed their first kiss

Actors Yoon Sun-woo and Kim Ga-eun shared a heartwarming reunion with KBS PD Choi Youn-suk, who has closely followed the couple's journey. Fans were moved by the story of the assistant director who directed their first kiss scene in a drama, only to meet them again now as a married couple.

On the 4th, Choi recalled this special connection by sharing photos with the couple on his SNS.

"The protagonists of the first kiss scene I directed were these two, and they eventually became a real-life married couple," Choi wrote. "The more I think about it, the more amazing and proud I feel."

He continued to express his affection, saying, "Today, we spent a whopping 6 hours talking together. Every time I see this couple, my heart feels warm for no reason. It is so good to see them bickering yet taking meticulous care of each other; they are such a lovely couple.""

The couple left affectionate comments on the post as well.

Yoon expressed his gratitude, saying, "It was such a joyful time." Choi responded, "Next time, I will cook for you myself. Or please invite me to your house." Kim also expressed her excitement, saying, "That would be great," offering a glimpse into the enduring friendship between the three.

The connection between the trio dates back 11 years.

Yoon and Kim first met while working together in the 2014 KBS TV novel "Single-minded Dandelion." At the time, Choi served as an assistant director on the production and was the one who directed the two actors' first kiss scene.

Having grown close through the drama, the couple nurtured their relationship over many years and completed their happy ending by tying the knot last October.

Yoon debuted in the 2003 EBS drama "Environmental Warrior Zentafors" and has since been recognized for his solid acting skills in various works, including "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo," "Home for Summer," "Awaken," and "The First Man."

Kim debuted as an SBS 11th recruitment talent in 2009 and has been beloved by viewers for her versatile performances in popular dramas such as "Because This Is My First Life," "The Wind Blows," "On the Verge of Insanity," and "King the Land."

The reunion of the three—where a connection born on screen led to a real-life marriage—provides a special moment for fans who remember the original production.
