Comedian Kyuwon 'Q' Kim is spreading warmth as a story of his selfless kindness has recently come to light. Behind his cheerful television persona, a touching account has emerged of how he provided deep comfort to someone in need.

On the 7th, illustrator Keykney shared a moving story via SNS, which was submitted by a fan through an illustration.
The story centers on Kim. It was revealed that during his time serving as a public service worker prior to his entertainment debut, he showed extraordinary care and consideration for a student who used a wheelchair.
The informant recalled the difficult circumstances, saying, "The child began using a wheelchair in the 4th grade due to a congenital muscular disease. On the first day the child went to school in a wheelchair, both the child and the parents were extremely nervous and worried."
They continued, "Since the parents could not stay at the school constantly, they had to rely on the help of the public service workers. While there were good people, there were also those who found the child bothersome or openly refused to help."
It was during the child's 5th-grade year that he met Kim.
"He listened intently to the child's stories and truly adored our son," the informant said. "I still remember the child coming home from school and brightly saying, 'The teacher is so much fun.'"
A particularly unforgettable anecdote was also shared.
One day, the child had an accident with urination at school. After informing the mother of the situation, Kim reassured her, saying, "I will handle it myself. Please do not worry."
He then personally washed the child's underwear, dried it in the sun, carefully folded it, and delivered it in a plastic bag.
Recalling his kindness, the informant said, "To me, who was at a loss due to feeling so apologetic, he actually said, 'I feel like I called and made you worry unnecessarily,' expressing his own apology for the situation."
Kim's warmth continued until his final day. As he approached his discharge from service, he prepared rice cakes to distribute to the school and reportedly shared a tearful farewell with the child.
"We are all so happy that the teacher is doing well," the informant expressed, adding, "He is the number one person among all celebrities for our family."
They concluded with words of support: "Thank you for creating a wonderful memory for the child that he will never forget for the rest of his life. We hope you continue to achieve great success in everything you do."
Kim debuted through tvN's 'Comedy Big League' in 2023 and subsequently made a name for himself through seasons 5 to 7 of Coupang Play's 'SNL Korea'. At the Blue Dragon Series Awards held on the 31st of last month, he established himself as a notable entertainer by winning the New Male Entertainer Award.
