Born in 1988, Ye first became known as a fitness model before expanding her career into acting through appearances on various television programs. She has also made special appearances in the “Beomjoedosi” film series, which was produced by her husband, Ma Dong-seok.
Ye publicly acknowledged her relationship with Ma Dong-seok in 2016. Ma is 17 years older than her. The couple registered their marriage in 2021 and later held their wedding ceremony in 2024.
