AKMU's new agency features 4-day work weeks and exercise perks
AKMU's newly founded agency, Yeonggamui Saemteo, gains attention for its unique culture of 4-day work weeks and 'Inspiration' job titles.
The unique corporate culture of the agency established by AKMU has been revealed. The company is drawing attention not only for its unconventional welfare, such as a 4-day work week and recognizing exercise time as working hours, but also for its distinctive job title system where all employees are called 'Inspiration.'

On the 30th, a video following the daily life of Lee Suhyun was released on Kian84's YouTube channel 'Life84.'
On this day, Kian84 visited 'Yeonggamui Saemteo,' the agency founded by AKMU, along with Lee Suhyun to tour the office building and observe the employees' working environment.
- "Most employees were scouted"
When asked about the reason for joining the company, one employee replied, "We were all scouted into our positions."
When Kian84 asked, "Are they all from YG Entertainment?", Lee Suhyun explained, "About half were at YG, and they are all people who changed jobs."
AKMU established their own company after their exclusive contracts with YG Entertainment ended.
Kian84 naturally brought up the topic of annual salaries, to which Lee Suhyun laughed and retorted, "Why are you so obsessed with salary?"
Kian84 made the scene erupt in laughter by responding, "That is what everyone is most curious about."
- Exercise recognized as working hours
The most eye-catching aspect was the work system.
Employees stated, "We work a 4-day week," adding, "Tuesday is exercise day, and the time spent exercising is also recognized as working hours."
Kian84 could not hide his surprise at the unique welfare system that includes not only work efficiency but also the health of the employees.
- All job titles are 'Inspiration'
The company's unique culture was also revealed.
The official job titles for all employees are unified as 'Inspiration.'
Lee Suhyun explained, "Surnames shouldn't overlap," citing examples such as Son-yeonggam, Kim-yeonggam, No-yeonggam, Go-yeonggam, and Hwang-yeonggam.
When Kian84 joked, "Did you pick them based on their surnames?", Lee Suhyun's response that "It is important" drew laughter.
- Continuing diet even after 30kg weight loss
Lee Suhyun also shared her recent status.
She revealed that she has lost approximately 30kg in a healthy manner with the help of her older brother, Lee Chan-hyuk.
However, she noted that she has not yet reached her current goal, saying, "I still need to lose about 7kg more," indicating that she is continuing her consistent health management.
AKMU's new direction, which incorporates a unique organizational culture that values employee autonomy and health while melting musical inspiration into their business operations, is garnering significant interest.
