Singer and musical actress Bae Da-hae, who is currently undergoing IVF treatment to conceive a second child, shared an update on her life living with her 100-year-old great-grandfather-in-law.
On the 12th, a video titled '100-year-old great-grandfather-in-law's longevity diet | Three people under one roof: adaptation period | Secret date' was uploaded to Bae's YouTube channel.
As soon as she woke up in the morning, she prepared a meal for her great-grandfather-in-law. She made fruit juice and followed it with sweet potatoes, eggs, cheese, lettuce, yogurt, and a bit of fruit, stating, "There are about three days a week when the caregiver doesn't come. Since they aren't coming today, I am making breakfast."
She showed meticulous care by placing the prepared food on her great-grandfather-in-law's dedicated dining table and even preparing the newspaper he subscribes to. Later, she prepared a small amount of rice cakes for his lunch, hinting that his secret to longevity lies in his diet.
She then expressed the affection between her and her husband, saying, "I have been reading the comments asking if it's too difficult. Thank you for your support and empathy. It has been a great comfort. My husband is constantly worried that I might be struggling. He worries that I might get exhausted because I try to do even the smallest things."
Bae married singer Lee Jang-won in 2021 and recently revealed that they are living in the same house as her 100-year-old great-grandfather-in-law. Regarding the difficulty of caring for him while undergoing IVF to have a second child, she has previously shared her struggles, saying, "My body feels so heavy and it is very difficult."
