DJ DOC's Lee Ha-neul suggests calling Kim Tschang Yeul; Jung Jae-yong refuses

The long-standing friction surrounding the group DJ DOC has resurfaced. As Lee Ha-neul and Jung Jae-yong brought up Kim Tschang Yeul, attention has once again turned to the relationship between the three members.

On the 3rd, a YouTube Shorts video titled 'A video message to Chang-yeul?' was released on Lee Ha-neul's YouTube channel.

During the live broadcast, Jung attempted to speak but cautiously stopped himself. Seeing this, Lee said, "Go ahead. Let's see what the reaction is," directly mentioning Kim, who has been at the center of past discord rumors, by saying, "A video message to Chang-yeul."

However, Jung immediately drew a line.

Flustered, he remarked, "Hyung, you think I'm just breathing," before adding, "I could understand once or twice, and I know people keep posting comments hoping for this, but I wish they would do it in moderation." This appeared to be a plea to certain fans who continuously demand stories regarding Kim through broadcasts and comments.

When Lee suggested, "Try giving him a call," Jung replied "No" without hesitation. When Lee urged him once more, Jung repeatedly refused, maintaining a cautious stance by saying, "Do that when we aren't broadcasting."

As Lee tried to lighten the mood by claiming it was a joke, Jung remarked, "Hyung, you can't distinguish between a joke and a serious statement." Lee responded, "That's my flaw. People take my jokes as serious and think my pranks are real," drawing laughter.

The conflict between Kim and Lee surrounding DJ DOC surfaced in earnest following the death of Lee Hyun-bae.

In 2021, after his younger brother and member of the group 45RPM, Lee Hyun-bae, passed away, Lee expressed strong dissatisfaction regarding business disputes with Kim.

At the time, Lee claimed that Lee Hyun-bae had been preparing a guesthouse business on Jeju Island with Kim, but Kim changed the plan, leading to financial difficulties. He further claimed that Lee Hyun-bae suffered an accident while working a part-time delivery job due to financial hardship, and expressed resentment toward Kim, stating that Lee Hyun-bae could not receive sufficient medical examinations due to economic issues.

After cutting off contact for more than three years, the two met with Jung in 2024 and showed signs of reconciliation.

However, discord rumors resurfaced late last year when Lee and Jung held a year-end performance excluding Kim.

Currently, Lee and Jung maintain a close relationship, including running a gopchang restaurant together, but whether their relationship with Kim will be fully restored remains a major point of interest for fans.
