The latest update on singer couple Hong Seo-beom and Jo Gap-kyung has been revealed. This marks their first public appearance since issuing an official apology regarding their son's lawsuit involving the dissolution of a common-law marriage.

On the 6th, singer Namgoong Ok-bun shared photos and videos via her SNS, stating, "We gathered in Gwanghwamun. It was a truly wonderful evening enjoying the view that embraces Bukaksan, Inwangsan, and even distant Bukhansan."

She continued, "We met to prepare for a fall event and shared a delicious meal. We were joined by Kwon Seong-hee, Hong Seo-beom, Jo Gap-kyung, Hyeon Suk, Kwak Jong-mok, and Park Jin-seon. Hong Seo-beom took the lead, and we all decided to become one."

The released video captures Hong and Jo chatting while dining with acquaintances. Facing the camera, Jo flashed a bright smile and made a V-sign, while Hong maintained a cheerful expression as he continued the conversation, showing a relaxed atmosphere.

This update has drawn significant attention as it is the first glimpse of their lives following the recent legal dispute surrounding their son, Mr. Hong.

In a lawsuit against Person A, with whom he was in a common-law marriage, Mr. Hong was found responsible for the breakdown of the relationship. The first and second instance courts ordered him to pay 30,000,000 won in alimony and 800,000 won per month in child support.

However, Person A has appealed the second instance ruling to the Supreme Court. Claiming that the alimony and child support amounts are insufficient, she argued, "It seems there is no law for the victim," and expressed regret, stating, "If adultery laws had been maintained, this would not have happened."

As the controversy spread, Hong and Jo apologized through an official statement, saying, "We are sorry for causing concern regarding our son's matter." They added, "We will guide him so that his legal obligations, such as the payment of child support and alimony according to the court ruling, can be fulfilled promptly, and we will help him fulfill his responsibilities as a father."
