Kim Junsu shocked by Daiso prices during first visit

Singer and musical actor Kim Junsu was shocked by the unexpected price range after visiting the lifestyle goods store Daiso for the first time.

On the 20th, a video titled "Kim Junsu (XIA)'s GRAVITY Log I: Searching for Gravity" was released on Kim Junsu's official YouTube channel. As soon as he entered the store, he appeared somewhat excited and said, "I have come to Daiso. You all told me I must visit. I have been to Daiso once or twice in Japan, but I have never been to one in Korea. So, I am going to experience it today."

As he looked around every corner of the store, he said, "What should I buy? I like things like lighting and interior decor," while carefully examining the sections where related products were displayed.

After checking the prices of household goods, which ranged from 1,000 won to the 5,000 won range, he could not hide his astonishment. He kept talking, asking, "Do they even make a profit? How can this be 1,000 won? What have I been buying all this time? Is this why you told me to go to Daiso?"

He asked the production crew, "Is there anything over 10,000 won?" and when the answer "No" came back, he burst into a hollow laugh and lamented, "It is still affordable. Where on earth have I been shopping until now?"

He picked up products as he saw them, and his cart was quickly filled. He said, "Since it's cheap, I keep putting things in," unable to stop.

Just before payment, he burst into laughter, asking, "Is it really this hard to exceed 100,000 won?" The total for 30 items was 101,000 won.

Kim Junsu lives in the Signiel Residences at Lotte Tower in Jamsil, Seoul, which is known as the most expensive officetel in Korea. It is reported to be valued at approximately 8.9 billion won.
