Kim Yong-bin: "I'm the Fatal Sexy Member of the '92z'—My Bank Statements Have Changed"

On the 20th, during the 'Trot Best Friends King Battle' special of KBS2's 'Immortal Songs,' Kim Yong-bin shared that he is feeling his massive popularity through his changed bank statements.

Trot stars including Kim Yong-bin, Son Bin-a, Chu Hyuk-jin, Hwanhee, Choi Su-ho, Shin Seung-tae, Kim Junsu, Han Hye Jin, and Park Hyun Ho all appeared. In particular, Kim Yong-bin, Son Bin-a, and Chu Hyuk-jin formed the so-called '92z' to showcase their extraordinary friendship.

Kim Yong-bin, who has recently been gaining intense popularity, stated, "Looking at my bank statements these days, I feel like 'things are going well.'"

The three also revealed behind-the-scenes stories about their first impressions. Chu Hyuk-jin remarked, "Yong-bin has a chic and wealthy look, so I thought it would be hard to get close to him." Kim Yong-bin responded, "I thought Hyuk-jin looked a bit tough, so it wouldn't be easy to become friends."

Son Bin-a, whose real name is Son Yong-bin, shared a humorous episode, saying, "I thought if I worked under my real name, I might get overshadowed by Kim Yong-bin. So I chose 'Bin-a,' a Gyeongsang-do style nickname, as my stage name."

As the '92z' boasted their tight-knit friendship, Chun-gil, who also appeared on the same audition program, expressed his disappointment, saying, "Originally, I was supposed to be part of the team too."

He raised suspicions of being 'ostracized,' claiming, "The kids don't answer in the group chat. It seems like the three of them made a separate room."

Chu Hyuk-jin provided laughter by joking, "We just wanted to hang out among those in their 30s."
