Ko Ji Yong and son Seung Jae's SNS unfollowing draws attention

The relationship between SECHSKIES member Ko Ji Yong and his son, Seung Jae, is drawing renewed attention. As the two's social media following status has recently caught the eyes of netizens, past broadcast scenes where Ko sent text messages to his son without receiving a reply are being revisited.

Ko appeared on KBS2's 'Mr. House Husband' last May to share updates on Seung Jae. At the time, he revealed that Seung Jae was studying the violin at a music academy for gifted children, stating, "He is working hard." However, regarding his son's tendency to avoid answering the phone, he confessed, "It seems he doesn't mind much even if several messages pile up."

During the broadcast, Ko sent a text to Seung Jae asking, "Seung Jae, where are you?" When no reply arrived after an hour, he laughed awkwardly, saying, "It hasn't come. There is no reply." However, there was no basis to conclude there was a conflict in the father-son relationship based solely on that broadcast.

Recently, their social media connection has become a topic of conversation again. It is reported that Seung Jae's following list includes only his mother, Heo Yang Im, who also follows him. Meanwhile, Ko and Seung Jae do not follow each other on social media, sparking increased interest among netizens.

Ko married family medicine specialist Heo Yang Im in 2013, and they had Seung Jae the following year. In July, Ko announced that he had divorced approximately two years prior. While interest continues as their current social media status and past broadcast moments are being re-examined, it is difficult to judge the actual family dynamics or specific circumstances following the divorce based only on publicly available information.
