LE SSERAFIM kicks off promotions with 2nd studio album 'PUREFLOW' pt.1 and title track 'BOOMPALA'

Girl group LE SSERAFIM [Source Music] has officially begun their activities by releasing the music video for their 2nd studio album 'PUREFLOW pt.1' and the title track 'BOOMPALA'.

LE SSERAFIM released the new album on the 22nd. 'BOOMPALA' is a song that carries the message that fear can change depending on one's perspective; the members express this through positive change and free energy, delivering a powerful message to their fans.

The music video unfolds with a festival-like atmosphere and was produced in collaboration with Google Android. The video begins with a scene where Huh Yunjin uses the AI assistant Gemini to search for music that makes her feel good. The story then progresses as 'BOOMPALA' begins to play.

The members appear as characters living with their own individual worries. They visit Kim Chaewon, who runs a counseling center in a jjimjilbang (Korean spa), and playfully release their anxiety and stress within the atmosphere of 'BOOMPALA'. The synchronized choreography on a parade vehicle and scenes of various people dancing together showcase a sense of liberation. In the latter half of the video, the energy of 'BOOMPALA' spreads to outer space, reaching a climax.

The performance is also a key highlight. 'BOOMPALA' was produced with a familiar vibe by sampling the global hit 'Macarena'. The point of the choreography is the movement of crossing both arms. By combining repetitive motions, they constructed a performance that is easy for many people to follow.

LE SSERAFIM will hold their first comeback stage on KBS2 'Music Bank', which airs at 5:05 PM today. They will also appear on MBC 'Show! Music Core' on the 23rd and SBS 'Inkigayo' on the 24th.
