LE SSERAFIM [Source Music] has proven their popularity by selling more than 430,000 copies of their 2nd studio album 'PUREFLOW pt.1' on its first day of release.
According to the Hanteo chart, an album sales tracking site, 'PUREFLOW pt.1' sold 435,675 copies on the 22nd, its first day of release, claiming the top spot on the daily album chart.
This marks the highest first-day sales for a 4th generation K-pop girl group album released this year. Among all girl groups, it ranks 2nd, following BLACKPINK.
'PUREFLOW pt.1' contains the changes and growth LE SSERAFIM experienced while facing their fears.
The title track 'BOOMPALA' is a Latin House genre track inspired by the concepts of emptiness (空) and nothingness (無) from the Heart Sutra, sampling the 1990s global hit 'Macarena' by Los Del Rio.
LE SSERAFIM will appear on MBC 'Show! Music Core' today.
