Son Dam-bi addresses rumors of rehoming pet cat after childbirth: "Would I have abandoned it?"

Singer and actress Son Dam-bi has clarified controversy regarding rumors that she rehomed her pet cat after giving birth.

On the 15th, a video titled "Sensible and emotional interior designed by Son Dam-bi herself" was uploaded to her YouTube channel, 'Dam-bi Son'.

She announced that she was revealing her home for the first time, saying, "It's been about a month since we finished construction and moved in after about three months. It's almost done, so I want to show you how I decorated it."

Mentioning her concerns about "new house syndrome" because of her child, she said, "I worried a lot and paid a lot of attention to it. I used natural materials for everything, including the wallpaper. That's why there was no 'new house' smell at all."

A cat zone was also introduced. While showing a cat tower, she noted that she specially designed a space for the cats to rest, saying, "My pet cat, Egon, stays only here."

She then clarified, "The cat is there. People keep asking where it went, but would I have abandoned it? I love them so much. Ever since the baby was born, people keep asking where the cat is."

Son Dam-bi married former speed skater Lee Kyu-hyuk in 2022 and welcomed a daughter last April.
