YouTuber Choi Gogi to remarry Lee Ju-eun in September
YouTuber Choi Gogi prepares for remarriage with Lee Ju-eun after a five-year relationship, planning a wedding on Jeju Island.
YouTuber Choi Gogi (real name BEOMGYU) is taking his first steps toward forming a new family. After moving past the pain of his divorce from ex-wife Yu Kkaennip, he is preparing to remarry his partner of five years, Lee Ju-eun.

A video titled 'The wedding photoshoot date has been set!' was recently released on Choi Gogi's YouTube channel.
In the video, Choi Gogi revealed specific details regarding the wedding photoshoot schedule, stating, “There are two months left until the snap photoshoot. Since it is late July now, we are shooting in September.” Along with the excitement of the upcoming marriage, he showed himself beginning to manage his physical condition in preparation for the shoot.
Choi Gogi, shirtless while checking his current physical condition, confessed honestly, “I am dieting again. I have so much belly fat.” In response, his fiancée Lee Ju-eun also expressed her excitement for the upcoming wedding, saying, “I am looking forward to September. Please look forward to it as well, everyone.”
The two have been building their relationship for about five years, having met in 2022. Currently, Lee works alongside him as a PD for Choi Gogi's YouTube channel, and the couple revealed through the TV CHOSUN variety show 'X's Private Life' that they are dating with the intention of marriage.
At the time, Choi expressed deep trust in his relationship with Lee, saying, “We have lived together for five years. We have spent more time together than in my previous marriage. This time, I feel like we can go all the way without falling.”
The relationship Lee has built with Choi Gogi's daughter, Sol-ip, is garnering significant attention alongside the remarriage news. Lee has reportedly shown affection comparable to a biological mother by caring for Sol-ip, the daughter Choi Gogi had with Yu Kkaennip, for a long time.
The fact that Sol-ip, who initially called Lee “Auntie,” now naturally calls her “Ju-eun Mom” adds deep meaning to the union, signifying the birth of a new family rather than just a romantic partnership.
The wedding ceremony is scheduled to take place on Jeju Island. Choi stated, “I heard that a wedding on Jeju Island lasts all day, unlike in Seoul. Even if I cannot invite many friends, I want to have fun with Ju-eun's family and those close to us.”
It is also reported that they are considering starting their married life in either Jeju Island or Busan, Lee's hometown. Expectations are growing for the new life the two will build together.
Choi married Yu Kkaennip in 2016 and had a daughter, Sol-ip, but the couple divorced in 2020. Having raised his daughter alone while continuing his career, he is now preparing for a new beginning with Lee, who has remained by his side for years.
