I Am SOLO's 32nd Generation Young-cheol addresses drinking controversy

32nd Generation Young-cheol from ‘I Am SOLO’ has spoken out regarding the misunderstandings and controversies surrounding him following his appearance on the show.

Young-cheol, who drew mixed reactions from viewers due to his intoxicated appearance and certain remarks during the premiere, explained the discrepancy between his actual life and his portrayal on screen, stating, “There was no problem with alcohol.”

On the 30th, a live broadcast was released on the YouTube channel ‘Chonjang Entertainment TV,’ featuring the participants of the 32nd Generation Divorced Special of the SBS Plus and ENA dating reality show ‘I Am SOLO.’

During the broadcast, questions were directed at the participants regarding behind-the-scenes filming experiences and their lives since the show ended.

One viewer asked Young-cheol, “You experienced your first time doing dishes at 32nd Street. Are you still doing housework well after the broadcast?” This was because the scene where Young-cheol mentioned, “This is my first time doing dishes,” had become a trending topic.

In response, Young-cheol clarified, “Once my wife started getting sick, I naturally did everything.”

He continued, explaining, “I have lived my life naturally doing the things a husband should do at home. Even now, my family members try to share the housework rather than delaying or avoiding it.”

“Since I am the only one for my children, my life has always been about work and home,” Young-cheol said. “There was also not much reason for me to drink a lot.”

He further emphasized, “I have never had problems with alcohol, and I have never even been to such establishments,” drawing a line against the speculations surrounding him.
