Actress Jeon Seong-ae rushed to ER after terrifying bathroom fall

Actress Jeon Seong-ae, mother of comedian Mi Ja, revealed that she was recently rushed to the emergency room following a terrifying fall in the bathroom. It was a moment so dangerous it could not be dismissed as a simple mishap; the family was left in deep shock, and Jeon shared that she experienced a frightening time, even contemplating the threshold of death.

On the 5th, a video titled 'Stocks failed and mother was rushed to the ER. It has been a hard month' was released on Mi Ja's YouTube channel, 'Mijane's Tavern.'

In the video, the story of Jeon's recent emergency room visit, which startled her family, was shared, drawing concern from viewers.

Jeon showed the wounds caused by the accident, stating that she has since recovered significantly. She revealed that vivid yellow bruises remained on her arm and that head pain persisted for some time.

The situation at the time of the accident was far more dangerous than expected.

Mi Ja expressed her terror at the time, saying, "My mother slipped while getting out of the bathtub after washing her hair. As she fell backward, she slammed her full body weight into the sink. There was a loud 'thud' as she fell onto the bathroom floor, and I truly thought she had passed away."

From the family's perspective, the accident unfolding before their eyes did not look like a simple trip. Mi Ja shared that she felt intense anxiety in the moment, as bathroom falls can lead to fatal accidents, especially for the elderly.

It was also reported that her husband, actor Jang Gwang, was greatly startled. In the urgent situation, Jang attempted to care for his wife in his own way by bringing out frozen sujaebi to use as a cold compress, a scene that elicited laughter from Mi Ja as she recounted it.

However, the fear felt by Jeon was by no means light.

She shared her feelings at the time, saying, "I thought if it was a cerebral hemorrhage, I would have to undergo surgery due to the golden hour, and that I might not wake up. While riding in the 119 ambulance, I thought, 'Should I start settling my affairs now?'"

She continued, "The time I have lived passed by so quickly. I thought, 'I lived so well, and it was so much fun,'" which moved her family.

Faced with a sudden accident, a person begins to look back on the life they have lived. Jeon also shared that rather than the fear of death, she reflected on her life, thinking of the times spent with her family and the moments she lived as an actress.

Fortunately, Jeon provided relief by showing that she is recovering without major aftereffects. However, this accident served as a reminder of how a small danger in daily life can lead to a major accident.

Jeon is married to actor Jang Gwang and has a daughter, Mi Ja, and a son. Mi Ja received many congratulations when she married comedian Kim Tae Hyun in April 2022.
