Ji Yeon-soo Denies Fake News Regarding Remarriage and Having a Daughter with a Dentist

Ji Yeon-soo, a broadcaster and ex-wife of ELI from the group U-KISS, shared updates on her life via YouTube, where she has been working hard, while also addressing rumors circulating about her.

A close friend appearing with her questioned, "Do people really have that much passion?" Ji Yeon-soo responded, "It's not that; it's just that since I don't run it myself, so many people come. It's very exhausting. Basically, about 100 to 120 people come during lunchtime. I have to carry heavy brass bowls, so my wrists hurt so much. I'm receiving physical therapy," revealing that she has been working part-time serving at a Seolleongtang (ox bone soup) restaurant.

Mentioning her son Min-su, she said, "He received an encouragement award at a science imagination expression contest. He won it for drawing and writing, and since it's the first award the child has received, I am so happy. It was a happy moment." Regarding her appearance on TV CHOSUN's 'We Got Divorced' with ELI, she shared her thoughts, saying, "Since I wasn't someone many people recognized, it was the first time I truly felt that my actual life could change."

She continued, "There were quite a few people who viewed me negatively. They said I was heading into an abyss, but without realizing it, I was already there." The production crew remarked, "Watching YouTube, I thought Ji Yeon-soo had remarried," to which Ji Yeon-soo reacted with absurdity, saying, "They said I remarried a dentist five years younger than me and had a daughter. Please, just bring him to me. Who is this dentist?"

She distanced herself from the rumors, stating, "To be honest, those fake news stories and things completely unrelated to my life that are presented as if they actually happened have absolutely nothing to do with me. I've realized throughout my life that I must distance myself from fake news."

Regarding ELI's remarriage, she calmly revealed, "I knew about his remarriage. I just didn't know when it would happen. My biggest worry was, 'Min-su has to go to school tomorrow.' Among the parents, there are some who know who Min-su's father is, and I was worried the child might hear about it and get hurt."

She added, "He is still in his 30s. He can marry again and have children to live a new life. Honestly, I love living just the two of us with Min-su. I think he is just reaching the fruits of happiness a bit later than I did. Since Min-su is my number one priority, I have no interest in anything other than him."

When asked by a friend if Min-su also knows about his father's remarriage, Ji Yeon-soo maintained a composed expression and replied, "He knows. We celebrated it. But what are we supposed to do if we don't celebrate?"
