Ji Yeon-soo, Ex-wife of U-KISS Eli, Starts New Chapter Teaching Children
Former broadcaster Ji Yeon-soo shares her new career as a 'Book&Plant' instructor, focusing on storytelling and nature-based education for children and adults.
When singer Eli, formerly of the boy group U-KISS, announced news of his remarriage on the 11th, attention also turned to his ex-wife, broadcaster Ji Yeon-soo, who is 11 years his senior.
Ji Yeon-soo has been raising her son, Min-su, alone after divorcing Eli in 2020. The two showed a possibility of reuniting while appearing on TV Chosun’s ‘We Divorced 2,’ but eventually went their separate ways.
Recently, Ji Yeon-soo shared her current status on her SNS, stating, “I have wrapped up my life in Jeju Island and moved to Seoul due to family health issues. Along with the termination of my contract with my previous company, I have begun a new challenge.”
She is pictured brightly smiling while conducting classes with children or holding her works. She is currently active as a ‘Book&Plant’ instructor, conducting classes for kids and adults using flowers and plants. She holds first-class certifications such as Storytelling Picture Book Instructor, Florist Expert, Urban-Agriculture Instructor, and Child Art Instructor, and operates related educational programs.
Ji Yeon-soo shared her update, saying, “The studies I started because I wanted to understand my child's heart have led to a new profession. I am communicating with people through flowers and plants.”
Eli married Ji Yeon-soo, who is 11 years older, in 2014 and had a son, but they divorced in 2020.
