Lee Chan-won aims to take KwakTube's spot on 'No Plans At All 4'

Lee Chan-won is set to charge into 'No Plans At All 4' as a special MC, aiming to fill the void left by KwakTube. Armed with local food knowledge befitting his Daegu roots and unrestrained wit, he has teased a performance that threatens the positions of the existing members.

In the upcoming episode of MBN and Channel S's 'No Plans At All 4' airing on the 28th, Lee Chan-won will join Jun Hyun-moo to search for hidden gems in Daegu, stepping in for KwakTube, who is unable to attend due to scheduling issues. Hwang Yunsung, a TOP4 member from MBN's 'Unknown Legend,' will also join the group to bolster the so-called 'Daegu Food Trip.'

Upon heading to Daegu, Jun Hyun-moo mentions KwakTube's absence, noting, "That guy isn't here today." He then calls for Lee Chan-won, saying, "If we don't have a Daegu son-in-law, we can just call a son of Daegu."

As soon as Lee Chan-won appears, he heats up the atmosphere by performing a 'Jinttobaegi' duet with Jun Hyun-moo. He expressed his excitement, saying, "I finally get to see you on 'No Plans At All.'"

When Jun Hyun-moo asks if he has ever visited the restaurants they have previously introduced, Lee Chan-won mentions 'Dalttteok,' leading to an unexpected revelation. He caused laughter by claiming that after Jun Hyun-moo visited, the waiting lines grew so long that "hundreds of locals formed a group to become Jun Hyun-moo anti-fans."

Later, Jun Hyun-moo introduced Hwang Yunsung as Lee Chan-won's 'best friend' and a 'man like a keychain.' With Lee Chan-won, Hwang Yunsung, and Jun Hyun-moo together, a combination was formed to properly delve into the food and culture of Daegu.

In particular, Lee Chan-won displayed extensive knowledge of Daegu's cuisine. He demonstrated his local expertise by fluently explaining the characteristics and origins of the 'Daegu 10 Flavors,' as well as the features and history of pressed noodles (Nureun Guksu).

As he continued to explain Daegu's food culture while heading to a restaurant considered the original source of pressed noodles, Jun Hyun-moo marveled, saying, "Your hosting is better than KwakTube's."

At that, Lee Chan-won declared as if he had been waiting for the moment, "I came here today aiming for that spot." Hwang Yunsung also chimed in, asking, "Is there perhaps a third spot available?", creating a scene reminiscent of a succession battle for KwakTube's position.

The three arrived at an original establishment in the pressed noodle alley. There, they will engage in a full-scale mukbang, tasting 76-year-old traditional Daegu-style handmade noodles, boiled pork (suyuk), and aged kimchi (mukeunji).

After tasting the perfectly cooked boiled pork, Jun Hyun-moo rated it as "number one among all the boiled pork on 'No Plans At All,'" while Hwang Yunsung praised the handmade noodles, saying, "It's like the Pyongyang Naengmyeon of the kalguksu world."

In this broadcast, interest is high regarding whether Lee Chan-won can go beyond being a simple substitute MC and actually fill the void left by KwakTube. Attention is focused on whether he, equipped with rich knowledge of regional food and variety show sensibilities, can establish himself as a new food companion on 'No Plans At All' using his connection to Daegu as a weapon.
