Ha Seok-jin on marriage: "I'm used to being alone"

Actor Ha Seok-jin shared his honest thoughts regarding marriage. While he is open to the idea, he revealed that he has become accustomed to his current lifestyle after living alone for a long period. Jun Hyun-moo empathized with this, expressing his own realistic concerns.

In the episode of the MBN and Channel S co-produced variety show 'No Plans At All' aired on the 21st, Jun Hyun-moo and KwakTube embarked on a gourmet journey through Yangju, Gyeonggi-do, alongside actors Ha Seok-jin and Min Jin-woong, tasting everything from mountain delicacies to sundae-guk (blood sausage soup) and Hanwoo (Korean beef).

Jun Hyun-moo and KwakTube first visited a mountain restaurant with a 40-year tradition. They ordered stir-fry dishes using various mushrooms—including sparassoid, chestnut, bush, eggplant, and minjaju mushrooms—along with a cheonggukjang (extra-strong fermented soybean paste) set, engaging in their signature witty banter over the unfamiliar mushroom names.

A self-service corner featuring freshly grown vegetables also caught their attention. After wrapping side dishes in aralia leaves, the two enjoyed the abundance of the mountain meal, tasting chilled cucumber soup, cabbage pancakes, grilled mackerel, cheonggukjang, and stir-fried mushrooms.

Later, Ha Seok-jin and Min Jin-woong joined as 'eating companions.' KwakTube attempted to identify the two guests by only listening to their voices while blindfolded, but failed to guess correctly, mistakenly predicting Kang Ki-young and Joo Jong-hyuk. In particular, Ha Seok-jin, who shares a close friendship with KwakTube, drew laughter by expressing his disappointment, saying, "I even sat in the front row at your wedding, but you didn't recognize me.""

The four then moved to a sundae-guk restaurant. When Jun Hyun-moo, Ha Seok-jin, and Min Jin-woong stated they preferred the original, pure taste of sundae-guk, KwakTube joked, "Does your palate change once you hit your 40s?" The meal was naturally filled with laughter as Ha Seok-jin and Min Jin-woong continued with 'dad jokes' involving KwakTube's family.

As the conversation shifted to marriage, Ha Seok-jin expressed a positive view toward the concept itself. However, he confessed to having realistic concerns due to his long-term solo lifestyle.

Ha Seok-jin shared his inner thoughts, explaining that as his time spent alone has lengthened, he has become accustomed to his current way of life, making it difficult to create space in his daily routine to welcome a new person.

KwakTube also offered his opinion, stating that since Ha Seok-jin seems to be fully enjoying his single life, he wouldn't feel the need to urge him to marry.

Jun Hyun-moo also empathized with Ha Seok-jin. Mentioning that he, too, has become accustomed to living alone due to his busy schedule with broadcasts and various activities, he shared his own realistic dilemmas surrounding marriage.

The final meal was Hanwoo. At the Hanwoo restaurant introduced for the twentieth time on 'No Plans At All,' the four tasted top-grade 'two-plus number 9' Hanwoo and a unique soybean paste stew.

During the meal, discussions on acting also emerged. When asked how to naturally express emotions in the romance genre, Ha Seok-jin explained his method of trying to actually feel affection for his co-stars during filming. Jun Hyun-moo immediately linked this to the topic of ideal types, teasing Ha Seok-jin, who responded wittily to lighten the mood.

KwakTube's challenge in acting also became a hot topic. Having recently appeared in a production with an official role, he expressed his desire to take a class directly from Min Jin-woong, who is a professor in the Department of Acting Arts at Cheongwoon University.

Min Jin-woong advised him that it is important to let go of greed regarding audition results and to enjoy the acting he has prepared. However, as Jun Hyun-moo brought up a story about Min Jin-woong's unconventional acting during a past audition, the serious advice was quickly transformed into variety-show humor.
