Lee Young Ja: Won't give up on marriage even in her 70s

On the 12th, comedian Lee Young Ja shared her wishes regarding marriage on her YouTube channel 'Lee Young Ja TV'.

Before attending Chef Cho Seo Hyung's wedding, Lee expressed her excitement, saying, "Since he is a chef who is exceptionally good at Korean cuisine, I was particularly curious about the wedding food. I have high expectations because I heard the reception was prepared with great care." She was already anticipating the meal.

Upon arriving at the wedding venue, she showed her determination, stating, "I intentionally wore loose-fitting clothes today so I can eat a lot. Even if I get full, it won't show."

After offering her congratulations to Chef Cho Seo Hyung and sipping on a cocktail, the production crew remarked, "Your alcohol tolerance has increased a lot." To this, she revealed her envious feelings, responding, "It's because I've had some upsetting things happen. I want to have a wedding in an atmosphere like this, too."

While looking around the reception hall, she made a playful, aggrieved face, saying, "I really love this place. Can't one have a wedding even without a groom? The amount of congratulatory money I've given out over the years is enormous."

After tasting the food one by one, she remarked, "As expected, a reception prepared by a chef is different. You can feel the sincerity in even the Japchae, as it contains so many various ingredients. They say in the weddings of the Yangban era, seasoned skate was a must-have. I should learn about these things well. Who knows, I might get married at 70 or 80, and perhaps I could hold a feast and a wedding together?" She expressed her strong will to marry someday.

Born in 1967, Lee made her debut through the 1991 MBC Gag Contest. She is currently active in various entertainment programs such as MBC's 'The Manager', KBS2's 'Stars' Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant', and tvN STORY's 'Table Tales'.
