Oh Na Mi and Park So-young Share Marriage Behind-the-Scenes on Dongchimi, Evoking Laughter and Empathy

Comedians Oh Na Mi and Park So-young appeared on the MBN variety program 'Dongchimi,' drawing empathy from viewers by candidly sharing their daily lives with their husbands.

In the 'Life is Decided in Overtime' special broadcast on the 13th, the two showcased their witty banter while introducing their married lives with husbands who were formerly soccer and baseball players, respectively.

Recalling her first meeting with her husband, Oh Na Mi shared her initial impression. She reminisced, “He suddenly appeared and even pulled out a chair for me; it was so considerate that people around us actually grew suspicious.” She added with wit, “Now, he doesn't pull out the chair,” humorously expressing the realistic changes after marriage.

Park So-young, who is seven months pregnant, expressed her affection for her husband, a former baseball player. Creating a heartwarming atmosphere, she shared that unlike herself, who was not used to housework while living with her parents, her husband takes responsibility for managing the household.

The broadcast continued with discussions about having athlete spouses. When asked if they would recommend athlete husbands to their junior comedians, both gave positive answers in unison. Park So-young mentioned her former pitcher husband's sturdy physique, while Oh Na Mi also spoke of the advantages of a soccer player husband, naturally engaging in a 'bragging about husbands' competition.

Furthermore, the two caused a wave of laughter in the studio by naming basketball legend Hur Jae as the sports star who would likely have the lowest self-esteem at home. During a talk about sports players with a 'tough guy' image, Hyun Joo-yup and Kim Byung-hyun were mentioned; Oh Na Mi noted that she vividly remembers Kim Byung-hyun's ability to express his personality even in front of large crowds.

She shared that she encountered an unexpected candlelight event at her lodging and accepted immediately when her husband presented a ring while singing. Additionally, she introduced a story where she was misunderstood due to her husband's blunt reaction during a cooking content project. She added more laughter with the behind-the-scenes detail that after she personally trained him on how to react, her husband has become much more proactive.
