Yeong Suk to appear in 'Contract Marriage' following 'I Am SOLO' fame

Yeong Suk, who drew significant attention as a Han Chae Young look-alike during the divorcee special of 'I Am SOLO' Season 28, will appear in Nam Gyu Hong's new dating reality show, 'Contract Marriage'. As appearances by former 'I Am SOLO' participants continue, interest is mounting regarding the cast combinations.

Yeong Suk will appear in 'Contract Marriage', a KBS Joy and MBC Every1 program premiering on the 28th. The show is a marriage simulation observation variety program where men and women seeking marriage experience married life through a contract, exploring the meaning of marriage and realistic partnerships.

Following the release of the teaser, viewers' speculation regarding Yeong Suk's appearance grew. In a previously released video featuring only silhouettes, the appearance of a former 'I Am SOLO' participant led to the names of Season 28's Yeong Suk and Season 16's Sang Cheol being mentioned together. Sang Cheol subsequently revealed his actual appearance in a later teaser.

Sang Cheol appeared under the name 'Today's Groom' Jung Hwan, showing himself waiting for his bride while holding flowers. With a scene released where he tells the bride he has just met, "You look very elegant," attention is also focused on whether he will actually pair up with Yeong Suk.

Born in 1986, Yeong Suk introduced herself during her appearance on 'I Am SOLO' as a nurse at an oriental medicine hospital in Busan and a single mother raising a 9-year-old daughter and a 7-year-old son. At that time, she became a final couple with Season 28's Gyeong Su, though they did not continue as a real-life couple. Having regained the spotlight due to her resemblance to Han Chae Young, interest is now concentrated on the choices and relationships she will navigate in 'Contract Marriage'.
