'Yoo Jae-suk Camp' Byeon Woo-seok, Ji Ye-eun and Lee Kwang-soo: What Chemistry Will They Show?

Comedian Yoo Jae-suk will take on a group camp variety show on May 26 with actors Lee Kwang-soo, Byeon Woo-seok and Ji Ye-eun through Netflix's new variety program 'Yoo Jae-suk Camp.'

On the same day, Netflix revealed the viewing points for 'Yoo Jae-suk Camp.'

'Yoo Jae-suk Camp' is a variety show that unfolds as novice camp owner Yoo Jae-suk and unpredictable staff members Lee Kwang-soo, Byeon Woo-seok and Ji Ye-eun mingle with guests and escape everyday life. It was initially introduced as a guesthouse-style variety show, but by adding a camp setting, it has tried to differentiate itself from existing variety programs.

The first viewing point lies in the 24-hour operating format, in which a large group lives together for three days and two nights. Producers Jeong Hyo-min, Lee So-min and Hwang Yoon-seo said, "We structured it based on a timetable like a real training camp, while placing content only Yoo Jae-suk can pull off, such as cushion quizzes and the steel delivery box game, directing it in a way that adds fantasy on top of memories."

On the background for choosing Yoo Jae-suk as the camp owner, they said, "We judged that his ability to make people comfortable and draw out stories, along with his leadership in managing large groups, fit well with the camp structure. Viewers will also be able to see the human side of Yoo Jae-suk as he becomes clumsy and exhausted amid an intense schedule, rather than the image of a perfect MC."

The second viewing point is the chemistry between the novice camp owner and staff as they work alongside the guests. Although he has a brilliant broadcasting career, this is Yoo Jae-suk's first time ever operating a camp; Lee Kwang-soo serves as the discipline chief responsible for laughter and order among the guests; Byeon Woo-seok is in charge of healing the guests; and Ji Ye-eun becomes the guests' real-friend maker. The fun comes from watching them struggle to create a special time.

Lee Hyo-ri and Lee Sang-soon appear by surprise as special part-time workers. The production team said, "We prepared it without informing even the cast, so natural fun was created on site as well. When the two visited, a sense of stability emerged in camp operations for the first time, and they showed clear professionalism in caring for guests and cooking, further organizing the atmosphere," expressing satisfaction with the invitation of the special guests.

The final viewing point is the space, which spans about 30,000 pyeong. The production team said it focused on creating a space capable of handling a wide range of schedules, including wake-up missions and morning yoga, cushion quizzes, the steel delivery box game, outdoor experiences, campfires and talent shows.

In addition, various facilities such as a gymnasium, an outdoor stage and a fitness center will be provided, along with three meals a day and lodging, offering guests a different kind of healing experience.

The production team said, "The guests were able to have various experiences within one space, but at the same time, the workload of the staff, who had to manage all the different locations, doubled, and that aspect also seems to have become another fun element," raising expectations.

Composed of 10 episodes in total, 'Yoo Jae-suk Camp' will release up to episode five on this day, and all episodes through episode 10 will be released on June 2.
