Heo Nam-jun Says a Woman in Her 60s Made a Playful Marriage Pitch

Actor Heo Nam-jun drew attention after talking about a particularly unusual response he has received from viewers, saying that even a woman in her 60s had jokingly expressed a desire to marry him.

On tvN's variety program You Quiz on the Block, Heo opened up about what he described as a distinctive taste in fan comments and the kinds of reactions that make him feel good.

The production team behind You Quiz released a video on its official social media channels on June 18 with the caption, "Heo Nam-jun is not my type, but he keeps bothering me, and the marriage urge is hitting hard."

Asked whether there was a comment that made him feel especially happy, Heo replied that he liked comments such as, "He is not really a face I usually like, and he is not my type at all, but he keeps catching my attention."

He went on to say that he found another comment especially funny: "I like Heo Nam-jun so much that I want to marry him. Is it okay to feel this way in my 60s?" Heo proudly noted that even older fans had shown affection for him.

Heo is currently appearing as Cha Se-gye in the SBS Friday-Saturday drama A Wonderful New World, taking on his first leading role. Thanks to his strong performance, the drama is running at No. 1 in ratings in its time slot, with only two episodes left before the finale.

Born on June 9, 1993, Heo Nam-jun made his debut in 2019 with a minor film role. He later appeared in KBS2's The Matchmakers and Netflix's Sweet Home Season 2, building his screen career across television and streaming projects.

He also left a strong impression on the public through his intense villain performance in Genie TV's Your Honor, further raising expectations for his work as a leading actor.
