Kim Ga-hee joins 'Married Woman Killer' as forgery expert

Actress Kim Ga-hee is set to undergo another unique transformation as she joins the cast of 'Married Woman Killer'.

Having demonstrated a wide spectrum of acting—from gritty, realistic characters to delicate emotional performances—Kim will now take the screen as a character with a complete reversal between her outward appearance and her true self.

Kim plays Yang Ye-sol, an administrative officer in Sales Team 3 at Durumi Electronics, in the new MBC Friday-Saturday drama 'Married Woman Killer', which premiered on the 31st of last month.

'Married Woman Killer' is an action drama based on the premise of a woman who lives like an ordinary working mom but is actually a member of a secret organization that punishes criminals who have evaded the law. It depicts the struggles of the protagonist, Yoo Bo-na (played by Gong Hyo-jin), as she tries to maintain a balance between work, childcare, and dangerous missions.

In the drama, Yang Ye-sol is a kind office worker whom anyone would find likable at first glance. While she earns the nickname 'Kind Ye-sol' from those around her due to her bright smile and youthful way of speaking, she hides a brilliant ability to perfectly forge various documents for the organization's operations.

In particular, the charm of Yang Ye-sol lies in her extreme duality. While she usually handles quiet office work, when a moment of crisis arrives, she reveals her hidden combat prowess by demonstrating various martial arts skills such as Taekwondo, boxing, and kickboxing.

As the character possesses both a friendly, lovely image and intense action instincts, attention is focused on how Kim will bring Yang Ye-sol to life.

In 2018, Kim left a strong impression on the public by playing a character with raw, gritty energy in the film 'Park Hwa-young'. At that time, she was recognized for her acting skills, winning the 38th Korean Association of Film Critics Award and the New Actress Award at the 19th Women in Film Awards for her realistic acting and explosive emotional expression.

Since then, she has steadily expanded her filmography by showcasing her unique style in various works such as the film 'Three Sisters' and the dramas 'At Eighteen' and 'Hospital Playlist'.
