Gong Hyo-jin moves to suburbs for healing 4 years after marrying Kevin Oh

Actress Gong Hyo-jin has wrapped up her life in Seoul, revealing her new daily routine in a suburban home. Starting a new chapter in a space close to nature, she connected with fans by sharing her interior design tastes, recent updates, and news regarding her upcoming projects.

In a video titled 'Tofu Noodle Killer Gong Hyo-jin and Tofu-faced Jung Jun-won,' released on her YouTube channel on the 30th, her newly moved-in house was revealed for the first time.

Introducing the home, which features a warm atmosphere with a harmony of white and wood tones, Gong expressed her satisfaction, saying, "It is a house that goes well with summer."

She continued by sharing her recent move, stating, "I moved and ended my life in Seoul."

Previously, in May, Gong announced her move, explaining, "I decided to move because I thought I could heal more if I went just a little bit out of the suburbs." She once again explained her reason for choosing a more relaxed life away from the busy city.

The video also highlighted her spacious garden. When actor Jung Jun-won appeared a moment later, Gong drew laughter by warmly welcoming him, calling him "Honey," as they are co-stars working together in an upcoming drama.

Gong introduced him, saying, "I invited Jun-won, who is about to have the first broadcast of his drama, to my house," and added, "He is my most comfortable and closest colleague right now."

After looking around the house, Jung remarked, "Looking at your YouTube, it seems you are really interested in interior design," to which Gong replied, "I really love interior design."

When Jung praised her, saying, "It seems like that kind of sense is innate," Gong shared her own philosophy: "It seems like most people start by liking fashion and then it leads to an interest in space. It is ultimately the same context. If you are someone who likes being at home, you naturally become interested in interior design."

Gong, who married singer Kevin Oh in 2022, is building a new lifestyle by choosing a more relaxed pace after leaving Seoul four years after her marriage.

Meanwhile, Gong will make her return to MBC dramas for the first time in 15 years with the new MBC Friday-Saturday drama 'Married Woman Killer,' which airs its first episode on the 31st.

'Married Woman Killer' is an action black comedy depicting the double life of Yoo Bo-na, a killer who lives as an ordinary working mom while punishing heinous criminals who have evaded the judgment of the law.

Gong will undergo a new acting transformation as Yoo Bo-na, an ordinary wife who is sincere about housework and childcare, yet a cold-blooded killer. Jung will work alongside her as Kwon Tae-seong, a social affairs reporter who is a reliable husband supporting his wife and pursues the truth of the case to the end.

Having left the city behind for a new life surrounded by nature, attention is focused on Gong's next steps as she embraces both a relaxed lifestyle and new professional challenges.
