Kim Ga-ram Signs with Management Goo to Begin Acting Career Following LE SSERAFIM Departure Amid School Violence Allegations
Former LE SSERAFIM member Kim Ga-ram has signed an exclusive contract with Management Goo, transitioning from K-pop idol to actress.
Kim Ga-ram, who departed from the girl group LE SSERAFIM, is embarking on full-scale activities as an actress. On the 16th, Management Goo announced, "We have signed an exclusive contract with Kim Ga-ram."

Goo stated, "We have been steadily observing Kim Ga-ram's YouTube activities and were deeply impressed by her potential for growth as an actress and her sincere attitude. Seeing her strive and develop every day to achieve her dreams was a significant factor in our decision to sign her. Kim Ga-ram has been undergoing continuous training and research to improve her acting skills, showing remarkable growth over a short period. Beyond acting, she is constantly challenging herself and learning new fields, such as investing time in studying English and Japanese and teaching herself how to play the guitar."
The agency further added, "We highly valued her attitude of investing most of her time into preparation and self-development to achieve her dream of becoming an actress, and her constant effort to fill her own shortcomings. After internal discussions, we decided to sign the exclusive contract as we judged her future growth potential and potential to be very great. We plan to provide full support so that Kim Ga-ram can engage in even broader activities."
Kim Ga-ram debuted as a member of LE SSERAFIM in May 2022 but left the team after becoming embroiled in allegations of school violence during her school years. At the time, Kim Ga-ram completely denied the allegations, stating, "I have never once hit anyone. I was never forced to transfer schools. I have never smoked or drank alcohol. I have never bullied or ostracized anyone."
She has since opened a YouTube channel, where she has shared footage of herself studying in a university library and taking acting lessons.
