Kim Min Ha stuns with opening performance at 5th Blue Dragon Series Awards

Actress Kim Min Ha left a powerful impression by gracing the opening stage of the 5th Blue Dragon Series Awards with vocal abilities comparable to a professional singer.

During the 5th Blue Dragon Series Awards, broadcast live on KBS 2TV on the 31st, Kim appeared as the first celebratory performer, opening the ceremony with her own soulful interpretation of Frank Sinatra's masterpiece 'That's Life'.

Displaying stable vocals, rich emotional expression, and a commanding stage presence that transcended her acting credentials, Kim instantly captured the audience's attention. Having previously revealed she lost 17kg while preparing for her recent project, she drew significant attention by appearing in a much slimmer figure wearing an off-the-shoulder dress.

Following the performance, MC Jun Hyun-moo praised her, saying, "The level of the celebratory performance has been upgraded. It felt like I met musician Kim Min Ha today, not actress Kim Min Ha. It felt like being in a jazz bar."

Co-host Im Yoon-ah added a witty remark that brought laughter to the venue, noting, "Kim Min Ha, who won the Best New Actress award last year, opened the stage this year. Shouldn't the actors winning awards today start preparing for next year's opening stage?"

Kim later returned to the stage as a presenter, once again asserting her presence.

She shared her honest feelings, saying, "Today's stage was more nerve-wracking than any production set I've been on," while actor Nah Sang-hyun, who presented the award alongside her, expressed his admiration, exclaiming, "I've fallen for you."

In response to the unexpected praise, Kim replied with a shy smile, saying, "Thank you," as the natural chemistry between the two added to the warm atmosphere of the ceremony.

Kim is currently demonstrating a new side of her charm by proving her talent extends beyond acting to singing and stage performance.
