The two collaborated under the concept of a 'Strange Alliance' for the August issue of fashion magazine 'Elle.' They visually captured the unique atmosphere of the series by portraying the dreamy relationship between Gu-cheon, who traverses the spirit world, and Saeng-gang, who can hear the voices of ghosts.

'Good Bye My Princess' is a mystery fantasy series following Gu-cheon, who possesses the ability to move between the human and spirit worlds, and Saeng-gang, who hears the voices of ghosts, as they track the truth behind a curse tied to the East Palace.

During the interview, Nam recalled his first encounter with the script, saying, "It was a great work to read at night. I read two pages and found it so interesting that I closed it for a moment, but eventually, I read up to episode 4 in one sitting."

Roh also shared her first impressions, stating, "There was an immersive feeling, as if I were playing a game. The scenes kept playing in my head, and even after finishing, the lingering emotions lasted a long time."

Making his return in his first project since military discharge, Nam revealed that he focused heavily on swordsmanship and action training for the role. "I fully quenched the thirst for acting that had built up during my military service through this work. It was difficult, but a joyful filming process," he said.

Roh also underwent various action training, including horseback riding, swordsmanship, and rolling, to perfect her character. She explained that to portray Saeng-gang's ability to hear ghosts, she would "imagine the camera movement as the perspective of a ghost."

The two actors emphasized that 'Good Bye My Princess' is not a simple exorcism story.

"I never acted with the mindset that I had to eliminate ghosts," Nam stated, adding, "I approached it thinking of the characters as individuals who resolve the grudges of beings with their own stories and help them depart in peace."

Regarding the relationship between the two leads, Roh explained, "As they solve the curse together, their relationship transforms into one that shares a different dimension of emotion, beyond just love or friendship."

They cited a reunion scene in the latter half of the series as their most memorable moment.

"It was a scene where you could naturally feel that the two had become a relationship where they sincerely rely on each other," Roh said. Nam added, "It was a scene made possible because of the time we built together from the beginning. The more we continued filming, the more we relied on each other."

They also expressed deep respect for co-star Cho Seung-woo.

"I learned a lot watching him build the character's narrative, even considering scenes where he does not appear," Roh said, while Nam added, "I felt a lot from the senior actor's attitude in holding the center of the work."

Concluding the interview, the two shared their personal philosophies as actors.

"I believe there is nothing that cannot be done. I learned from my days as a basketball player that in the end, you just have to take action," Nam said. Roh added, "I believe that even if you acknowledge your shortcomings, you must ultimately believe in yourself to move forward."
