Park Kyung-hye Says Habit Is Why She Still Cuts Up Hamburgers After Double-Jaw Surgery
Actress Park Kyung-hye explained on her YouTube channel why dental problems left her with a lasting habit of cutting food into small pieces.
Actress Park Kyung-hye has opened up about having undergone double-jaw surgery because of malocclusion, and said her history of poor dental condition is the reason she still always cuts hamburgers before eating them.

On the 7th, a new video titled "Sink Base Cabinet and Screen Repairs! Plus Kyung-hye's Heated Scalp Care" was uploaded to Park Kyung-hye's YouTube channel, "Gyeonghye Bollae."
After repairing the lower cabinet under her sink, Park said, "I usually do not order delivery food, but since I am ordering delivery today, I want to eat something luxurious and delicious." She then ordered steak and pasta.
Later, while cutting and eating the steak, she brought up a moment from a previous YouTube video. "Cutting the steak reminded me that in my last YouTube video, I cut up a hamburger before eating it," she said. When the producer asked her to explain why she cuts hamburgers, Park replied, "I always cut hamburgers before eating them. My teeth were not in good condition, and when my dental alignment did not fit properly, I received a lot of dental treatment. If I had one side treated, I would eat on the other side, and once that treatment was done, the other side would have problems, so I always chewed food on one side. From then on, I developed the habit of cutting food into small pieces."
She added that the habit has remained even though her teeth now align properly. "Because of that habit, even though my dental alignment fits well now, I keep cutting up my food," she said.
Park previously spoke about her double-jaw surgery on MBC's "Radio Star" in 2017. At the time, she said, "My teeth are small. I had malocclusion, so my teeth broke too quickly. The doctor told me that at this rate I would have to use dentures, so I ended up having double-jaw surgery."
