Jang Hang Jun and Kim Eun-hee React to 1998 Wedding Photos: "That Hairstyle?"

Film director Jang Hang Jun and drama writer Kim Eun-hee have joyfully revisited memories of their newlyweds days by revealing their 1998 wedding photos.

A video titled 'Hang Jun ♥ Eun-hee Couple's Spicy and Sweet Memory Trip' was recently posted on the official KB Kookmin Bank YouTube channel. The video captures the couple reminiscing about the past while looking through old photos, prompted by an advertisement shoot.

The most eye-catching part was the 1998 wedding photo. Upon seeing the photo, Kim Eun-hee burst into laughter while mentioning Jang Hang Jun's hairstyle at the time.

"Who wears this hairstyle? He was surprised, and I was surprised too. I thought, 'Are they really having a wedding with this hair?'" she said, making the set erupt in laughter.

She continued to recall the moment, saying, "As those who have been married know, weddings are truly exhausting, and I was so hungry," while Jang Hang Jun added to the humor, joking, "People who do this two or three times are truly amazing. I thought, 'They're doing this again?'"

The video also revealed their uniquely personalized wedding invitations. Instead of traditional invitations, they were produced in a postcard format featuring witty phrases such as "If there's a more handsome groom and bride than us, step forward!" and "Lead Actor Jang Hang Jun, Kim Eun-hee."

Jang Hang Jun remarked, "The concept was new, but looking at the wording now, it's a bit regrettable," while Kim Eun-hee candidly admitted, "Since we requested it at a low cost, we couldn't bring ourselves to say we didn't like it."

When asked, "What is the one piece of advice you most want to give to your past selves?", Jang Hang Jun provided a practical answer.

"I want to tell myself to buy Samsung Electronics stock. It could change your life," he said. "And I want to say never to stop contributing to the pension you are currently paying."

He explained, "Since both of our professions are unstable, we started contributing 130,000 won every month to a pension a long time ago and maintained it until the end. It has grown to a significant size now, to the point where people are surprised."

In response, Kim Eun-hee wittily quipped, "Lately, since Jang Hang Jun started making money, he keeps talking only about money," completing the couple's characteristic 'tiki-taka' chemistry.

The video also sequentially revealed photos from their 2003 Europe trip and family photos. Looking at one photo, Kim Eun-hee laughed, saying, "I don't remember why I am carrying Jang Hang Jun on my back." Looking at photos taken after their daughter was born, she added, "My perspective on the world changed completely while raising a child. It was also a major turning point for me as a writer, and every day was a new experience."

Jang Hang Jun added, "Conversely, my sense of responsibility for the future grew even greater after the child was born. The thought that I must prepare for old age also became much stronger."

Married in 1998, Jang Hang Jun and Kim Eun-hee have supported each other for a long time, maintaining active careers in film and drama, and receive much love by sharing their pleasant daily lives through various broadcasts and content.
