Kim Dae-ho Exits and Yang Se-hyung Joins 'Jeonseol-ui Sanae' as 'Mumyeong Jeonseol' TOP7 Begin a New Journey

As the TOP7 who helped drive the success of the trot audition program 'Mumyeong Jeonseol' prepare to return through a spin-off variety show, the hosting lineup is also changing. Original MC Kim Dae-ho is stepping down, and broadcaster Yang Se-hyung is newly joining the follow-up program, 'Jeonseol-ui Sanae.'

Kim Dae-ho had served as an MC on MBN's 'Mumyeong Jeonseol: Trot Sanaedeul-ui Seoyeol Jeonjaeng.' He had shown particular affection for the project, even saying that he was selected as the program's host through an audition process. Despite that connection, he will not be part of the new follow-up show, 'Jeonseol-ui Sanae.'

Yang Se-hyung will fill the vacancy left by Kim Dae-ho. Yang had already built a relationship with the contestants by participating in the original 'Mumyeong Jeonseol' as part of the 'Top Prodan,' a group that supported the TOP7. With that existing connection, he is expected to help guide the next chapter of their growth story as a new MC.

'Mumyeong Jeonseol,' which ended on May 13, concluded after intense competition by crowning Seongri as the first 'Legend.' Its final episode, featuring the championship round, drew national viewership of 9.3 percent and peaked at 10.1 percent, making the finale a notable talking point.

The spin-off 'Jeonseol-ui Sanae,' designed to carry forward the popularity of the original program, has confirmed its premiere for the 15th at 9:40 p.m. The show will feature the 'Mumyeong Jeonseol' TOP7: Seongri, Haru, Jang Han-byeol, Hwang Yoon-seong, Jeong Yeon-ho, Lee Chang-min, and Irune. Together, they will present a new musical journey.

'Jeonseol-ui Sanae' is a music variety program that follows the TOP7 beyond the audition stage as they grow into true trot stars. Centering on their post-competition performances and more personal stories, the show is signaling a new kind of entertainment built around what comes after the contest.

Jang Min-ho and Yang Se-hyung will work together as MCs. Since Jang Min-ho watched the TOP7's growth up close as an MC on 'Mumyeong Jeonseol,' he is expected to lead the program with a deep bond already formed with the cast members.

Yang Se-hyung, who also showed affection for the contestants while appearing as part of the 'Top Prodan,' is expected to add a fresh atmosphere through his distinctive variety-show instincts and witty hosting style.

The production team has raised anticipation by releasing the first teaser video. In the video, the TOP7 appear in striking red suits and announce their dazzling return by greeting viewers with, "We are the TOP7 of 'Mumyeong Jeonseol.'"

They continue, "For our fans and viewers, we have gathered heart-fluttering stages, fiery stages that make the heart race, and moving stages that touch the heart, and we are returning with 'Jeonseol-ui Sanae.'" The message heightens expectations for the new performances ahead.

Attention is now on whether 'Jeonseol-ui Sanae,' inheriting the momentum of 'Mumyeong Jeonseol,' can capture viewers' interest once again as it moves forward with the changes of Kim Dae-ho's departure and Yang Se-hyung's addition.
