CLC's Kwon Eun-bin Sets Taiwan Stage as Her Final Entertainment Activity

Kwon had earlier confirmed the end of her exclusive contract with Cube Entertainment. On June 16, she went further by saying that she would leave the entertainment world entirely, explaining that the life she had lived as a celebrity had not been a happy one for her.

Her last schedule as an entertainer is a performance on July 19 at Zepp New Taipei in Taiwan. The stage is being held to mark CLC's 11th debut anniversary. Choi Yu-jin, who is currently active with Kep1er, will not take part, leaving four members to appear onstage. After that performance, Kwon Eun-bin will leave CLC behind and live as an ordinary private citizen.

In a message posted to social media that day, Kwon wrote that she had been wasting precious time over the years on meaningless periods that were not beneficial to her at all, and on human relationships that she described as empty shells with no substance. She said she felt deep regret over her past self and those years, and that she had decided to put all of those negative times and emotions behind her and spend her time pursuing a better and happier future.

Kwon Eun-bin debuted in 2015 as a member of the five-member girl group CLC. The following year, she became more widely known through her appearance on Mnet's survival program "Produce 101," but she did not make the final debut lineup and returned to CLC. After CLC disbanded in June 2022, Kwon shifted her focus to acting and continued her activities in that field. Her drama credits include "Bad Papa," "Somehow Family," "At a Distance, Spring Is Green," "Dear.M," and "Check-in Hanyang."

CLC recently reunited on a temporary basis to mark the group's 11th debut anniversary and has been continuing with performances.
