Heo Kyung Hwan Defends Yang Sang-guk Amid Rudeness Controversy

On the 10th, during a segment on the YouTube channel 'Joseon's Chef,' comedian Heo Kyung Hwan expressed his trust in his colleague Yang Sang-guk, who had recently been embroiled in controversy regarding his rude attitude.

Yang Sang-guk spoke about his father, who passed away four years ago. Recalling his father, who balanced taxi driving and farming, he said, "My father never once referred to himself as Yang Sang-guk's father. He was always careful, fearing he might become a burden to his son."

Addressing the recent attitude controversy, Heo Kyung Hwan said, "Recently, Sang-guk got into some trouble while trying to tell funny stories. Watching those clips, I felt bad because I thought, 'He isn't that kind of person.' This is because I know Sang-guk personally."

He showed his loyalty and trust for Yang Sang-guk, who had recently faced emotional hardship following allegations of being disrespectful toward senior comedian Yoo Jae Suk.

In response to Heo Kyung Hwan's trust and friendship, Yang Sang-guk continued the conversation with a grateful expression. The two have spent a long time together as KBS open recruitment comedians and have maintained a close personal friendship.
