Kim Sook explains why she cut ties with a 'kind' manager

Broadcaster Kim Sook revealed a chilling anecdote regarding a former manager's driving habits, stating firmly, "I can never tolerate retaliatory driving."

While Kim Sook is loved for her usually cheerful and witty personality, she proved to be decisive when it comes to matters of safety.

On the 29th, a video titled "The Occupational Disease Showcase Returns Thanks to Popularity: 'They Keep Talking Right Into My Ear'" was released on the YouTube channel VIVO TV.

During the broadcast, while discussing various examples of occupational habits, a story was introduced: "He is usually a sweet fiancé, but once he grabs the steering wheel, he swears and engages in retaliatory driving. Can he be fixed?"

In response, Kim Sook recalled her own experience.

She mentioned a former manager, saying, "There was a friend who was so kind, but would engage in retaliatory driving when driving. They even did it while they were with me."

Kim Sook revealed that she pointed out the problem immediately at the time.

"I told them not to do retaliatory driving. They just said, 'I'm sorry.'"

However, it didn't end with just one warning. The same behavior repeated afterward, prompting Kim Sook to issue a strong warning once again.

She explained the situation at the time: "The retaliatory driving habit came out again. I said, 'Didn't I tell you not to do that? Why are you flashing your high beams? That feels bad. Just let me in.'"

The manager apologized once more, but the problematic behavior was not easily corrected.

Kim Sook revealed, "Even with me sitting in the back, they did it several more times. I held it in, but eventually, I got out of the car and said, 'Stop this starting today. I cannot work with someone who drives like you.'"

Ultimately, Kim Sook stopped working with the manager in question.

The story she later heard through company officials was equally shocking. Kim Sook shared, "I heard from the company president later that because they drove so roughly, the car was always broken or scratched."

She then stated resolutely, "That person can never be fixed."

Kim Sook's anecdote goes beyond a simple workplace episode, delivering a message about driving habits and safety awareness. In particular, since retaliatory driving is not just a momentary expression of emotion but a dangerous act that can threaten the lives and safety of others, repeated instances can become a serious risk factor rather than just an individual personality issue.
