Single Actor Lee Jung-jin: 'If You Want Princess Treatment, Date a Secretary'

Actor Lee Jung-jin showcased his candid personality by revealing his steadfast dating philosophy even in his late 40s.

Appearing on the tvN STORY entertainment program 'Table Tales' broadcast on the 27th, Lee shared his views on dating and marriage.

During the broadcast, when asked about his last relationship, Lee answered, "It has been about a year and a half." He further explained his temperament, stating, "There hasn't been anyone I broke up with and then got back together with. Even if there is regret, I don't hold onto lingering feelings."

In particular, he also addressed the "manner controversy" that arose during his appearance on Channel A's entertainment show 'Groom Class.' At the time, viewer opinions were divided after a scene was revealed in which he did not open the car door for his blind date.

Regarding this, Lee said, "I believe if you are going to do something, you should do it all the way. If the partner is injured, has a lot of luggage, or is in a special situation, I would naturally open it."

However, he clarified his standards by adding, "If you think such actions are something that must be done naturally, then you should meet a secretary."

He added, "I can certainly set the utensils or take care of things that are needed. But I wonder if I really have to go as far as opening the car door. There is a way that works for each person."

When asked about a situation where a partner wants 'princess treatment' on their birthday, Lee did not back down easily.

He laughed, saying, "I am not a prince, am I?" and emphasized, "I think people are relative. If the partner does that for me, I will do the same."
