Lee Yong-jin: "I stood up to a foreigner but was KO'd in 3 seconds"

Comedian Lee Yong-jin surprised everyone by sharing a story about being assaulted by a drunk foreign worker during his school days.

On the 25th, a video titled "Princess Lulu and the Servants, Hwaseong Episode 2" was released on the YouTube channel 'Lee Yong-jin'. During the video, Lee visited Hwaseong with Shin Gi-ru, Melomance's Kim Min Seok, Lee Jae-yul, and Harry Potter, where a conversation about school-day fights naturally unfolded.

The conversation began when Kim Min Seok was asked if he had learned martial arts. "I don't think I'm good at fighting. There's hardly any reason to fight after school days, right?" Kim replied. Hearing this, Lee Jae-yul remarked, "You have to count fighting in school. There are many people who haven't fought even then."

As Harry Potter added, "There might be people who have only experienced being hit," Lee brought up his own experience.

He recalled, "My house was in the Hwaseong area. Back then, there were many foreign workers, though I'm not sure if they were Thai or Bangladeshi. While I was walking down the street in high school, that person suddenly swore at me and passed by."

He continued, "A schoolgirl next to me said, 'Are you just going to take that?' I reacted to those words, and that person suddenly rushed at me and ended it in 3 seconds with Muay Thai," which caused the cast to burst into laughter.

When Kim Min Seok asked, "Did you really collapse?" Lee replied, "I was knocked unconscious by a single low kick."

Even so, he did not lose his signature witty humor.

He added a joke that turned the scene into a sea of laughter, saying, "But I think he was a polite guy. Since I fainted, he didn't hit me anymore."

The cast burst into laughter repeatedly at Lee's unexpected school-day episode, and netizens who watched the video also reacted with comments such as, "Even though it was a 3-second cut, he tells it so hilariously," "A story typical of Lee Yong-jin," and "The part about him not hitting me after I fainted was the funniest."

Born in 1985, Lee debuted as a special recruit comedian on SBS in 2005 and has been active in various variety shows such as 'Comedy Big League', 'Player', and 'Agents of Mystery'. He married a non-celebrity in 2019 and has a son, and he is currently continuing his active career through his personal YouTube channel and KBS2's '2 Days and 1 Night'.
