Oh Sang Jin shares emotional story of second son's ICU stay

Broadcaster Oh Sang Jin will introduce his second son, who is now 50 days old, for the first time. In the episode of KBS 2TV's 'Stars' Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant' airing on the 13th, Oh's daily life as a father to his second son, born when Oh was 46, will be revealed.

During the broadcast, Oh appears holding his 50-day-old son, Suho. His wife, Kim So Young, gave birth to the boy on April 3 after seven hours of labor.

Upon seeing Suho's first appearance, the cast members expressed their admiration, noting, "He looks exactly like his parents," "His features are so distinct," and "He is so beautiful." Despite being only 50 days old, Suho's clear features and lovely expressions captured everyone's attention.

However, Oh's gaze reveals a depth of affection that goes beyond simple parental pride.

Even while appearing exhausted from caring for a newborn around the clock, Oh was seen meticulously observing Suho's every tiny movement. He has a profound reason for monitoring his son's health with such intense care.

Oh will reveal for the first time that Suho had to be admitted to the ICU immediately after birth.

Recalling those moments, he confessed, "As soon as Suho was born, he was admitted to the ICU. My wife and I went through so much emotional hardship," adding, "At that time, all we could do was pray."

The family prepared a special 50-day party to celebrate Suho's healthy growth. Oh also stayed busy personally preparing food for his son. Even without rest due to childcare duties, he demonstrated his impressive housekeeping skills, nicknamed "Elite Butler Oh," by preparing several dishes in a short amount of time.
