Han Chae-ah Clarifies She Is Cha Se-jji's Wife, Not Cha Du-ri's, and Says Her Daughter Looks More Like Cha Bum-kun as She Grows

Actress Han Chae-ah appeared on the June 14 broadcast of SBS's My Little Old Boy and spoke candidly about her family, including her eight-year-old daughter and her famous father-in-law, football legend and coach Cha Bum-kun. Han said she felt a little disappointed that her daughter seems to resemble Cha Bum-kun more than herself as she gets older.

When Han Chae-ah entered the studio, the Mobengers greeted her warmly and praised her looks, saying she was very beautiful. Host Shin Dong-yup added, "She is so beautiful, isn't she? When you see her in person, it really surprises you." He then introduced her family connection for viewers, explaining, "As many people know, her father-in-law is coach Cha Bum-kun. Her husband is his third son, Cha Se-jji."

The Mobengers then admitted that they had thought Han Chae-ah's husband was Cha Du-ri. Han responded with surprise, saying, "Really? That is a big misunderstanding." She explained that her husband and his older brother look very much alike, which may have led to the confusion. Han also shared an update on her daughter, saying, "My daughter is eight years old. She is in the second grade of elementary school. She has grown a lot."

Shin Dong-yup asked, "I heard your daughter looks exactly like your father-in-law, coach Cha Bum-kun?" Han Chae-ah replied, "Ah, she does look a little like him," and showed a visibly disappointed expression. When the Mobengers said regretfully that the child should have taken after her mother, Han said, "At first, I was really surprised.
