Han Chae Ah shares heartwarming summer vacation at in-laws' home

Actress Han Chae Ah shared a heartwarming display of family love by revealing a special summer vacation spent at her in-laws' house rather than at a glamorous travel destination.

Recently, Han released a video on her online channel titled "Me, going to my in-laws for summer vacation..." The video captures her daily life in Goheung, Jeollanam-do, where she visited her in-laws with her husband, Cha Se-jji, for their daughter's summer break.

Choosing her family's hometown over a fancy resort, Han conveyed the simple yet warm atmosphere of the vacation, saying, "I ate plenty of delicious food and healed while resting deeply amidst beautiful scenery."

In particular, the video drew attention by revealing the natural daily life shared with former soccer coach Cha Bum-kun's family.

At dawn on the second day of visiting her in-laws, Han headed to the golf course, saying, "I'm going to exercise since it's early morning."

She was accompanied by her father-in-law, Cha Bum-kun, and her husband, Cha Se-jji.

Han laughed as she remarked, "It's been almost 10 years since I've gone golfing with my father-in-law. He's as good at golf now as he was then, but I'm just as bad as I was back then."

However, regardless of skill, she showed how much she values the time spent with her family.

While watching the golf match between Cha Bum-kun and Cha Se-jji, Han brightened the atmosphere with her characteristic witty remarks, saying, "Looking at my 'elementary schooler' husband's expression right now, he's burning with desire to hit an eagle shot. Please, actually hit an eagle!"

The competition between father and son on the field, accompanied by the daughter-in-law's cheers, showed a special chemistry typical of a sports family.

The greatest joy in Goheung was, of course, the food prepared by her mother-in-law.

Upon returning home, Han poured out her admiration while tasting the cheese bake made by her mother-in-law.

She drew laughter by saying, "She said she sliced onions and put cheese and ham in the bread," adding, "This is why I gain weight whenever I come to Goheung."

She continued with a happy smile, "It feels like my mother-in-law is raising me like livestock. As expected, mother-in-law's food is the best."

Despite being an actress for whom physical management is usually important, she naturally let her guard down in front of the sincere meals prepared by her family.

Time spent fishing with her husband, Cha Se-jji, was also revealed.

However, the expected thrill of the catch did not come easily.

Watching her husband fishing while looking at the receding tide, Han brought laughter by saying, "I knew this would happen. I have never once seen a fish being caught with my own eyes."

The couple's appearance, enjoying the process itself rather than the result, stood out.

On the last morning, her mother-in-law's handmade sujebi (flour dough soup) appeared.

Han, who usually does not eat breakfast well, finished the sujebi, including all the broth, saying, "I'm someone who doesn't usually eat breakfast, but I don't know why the breakfast mother made goes down so well."

At the same time, she showed the comfortable relationship within the family by playfully saying, "Mother, you didn't give me any!"

Although it was a short three-day period, the vacation in Goheung meant more than just a simple trip to Han. It was a warm rest harmonized with delicious food, beautiful scenery, and time spent with family.

Expressing her feelings, Han said, "I was sad that the three days passed so quickly," once again showing her affection for the time spent with her family.

Han married Cha Bum-kun's son, Cha Se-jji, in 2018 and has a daughter. Even after marriage, she continues to receive much love by sharing her daily life with her family alongside her acting career.
