Jung Jun-won receives high praise from 'Married Woman Killer' creator amid attitude controversy

While actor Jung Jun-won remains at the center of attention due to attitude controversy sparked on a variety show, the high praise from the original webtoon creator of the drama 'Married Woman Killer' is drawing renewed attention.

Regardless of the controversy, the original creator expressed high satisfaction with his performance, even evaluating him as the "best actor."

Following the premiere of the MBC Friday-Saturday drama 'Married Woman Killer' on the 31st of last month, the original webtoon creator, YOON, released a lengthy review via SNS.

YOON stated that they watched the first episode along with co-authors and acquaintances, sharing the sentiment, "I read the scenario before the broadcast, but the work as realized on screen was beyond my expectations truly.""

In particular, regarding the cast's performances, YOON noted the high level of quality, saying, "There were no gaps in acting, from the supporting actors to the child actors." They also highly praised Kim Won-hae, who appeared in a cameo, saying, "I got goosebumps from his masterful acting."

Most notably, the evaluation of the lead actors drew the most attention.

Regarding Gong Hyo-jin, YOON praised her, saying, "She is an actress who naturally handles even unrealistic lines as if they were real everyday conversations," adding, "She perfectly embodied the character Yoo Bona."

The praise for Jung Jun-won was even more specific.

YOON revealed, "From the time I read the scenario, I thought he suited the character so well that I could almost hear actor Jung Jun-won's voice," and stated, "His actual acting was far superior to what I had expected.""

Continuing, YOON did not hide their satisfaction with the casting, saying, "I thought to myself that he is indeed the best actor," and "His soft image fit perfectly with the character Kwon Tae-seong.""

He appeared alongside Gong Hyo-jin on the MBC variety show 'Hangout with Yoo' broadcast on the 1st, but spent most of the time appearing nervous, leading some viewers to point out, "Isn't he lacking sincerity?"

On the other hand, defensive opinions have also emerged, stating, "He was just nervous because he has almost no variety show experience and has an introverted personality," leading to ongoing debates online.
