Psychological counselor Cha Eun-hwan (Kim Myung-soo) faces a major turning point in his life as he gets caught up in an unexpected incident. Tension is expected to rise further as his worry for Yu Ji-an (Kang Min-ah), who has been hospitalized due to a panic attack, overlaps with an unexpected event involving his client.

In the 2nd episode of the Lifetime weekend drama 'Sympathetic Cells,' which airs on the 5th at 10:50 PM, successful psychological counselor Cha Eun-hwan is depicted wavering amidst a series of consecutive crises.

In the previously aired 1st episode, Yu Ji-an, who came to receive counseling, exhibited symptoms of a panic attack. While Cha Eun-hwan was away for a moment, an electrical short circuit occurred in the counseling center building, and with the door handle of the counseling room broken, Yu Ji-an faced the crisis of being trapped alone.

Recalling Yu Ji-an's condition of feeling extreme fear when alone on a rainy day, Cha Eun-hwan rushed to the counseling room immediately and rescued her. However, just before losing consciousness amidst extreme anxiety, Yu Ji-an kissed Cha Eun-hwan, leading their first meeting to continue in an unexpected way.

In episode 2, the emotional changes of the two people begin to unfold in earnest following this incident. The released stills capture Cha Eun-hwan pacing in front of the hospital room where Yu Ji-an has been admitted due to a panic attack. Unable to easily escape the shock, Cha Eun-hwan visits a convenience store and coincidentally encounters Yu Ji-an again.
