The weekend drama 'Sympathetic Cells' is ramping up the tension by delving into a subtle love triangle centered around Kim Myung-soo.

In the fourth episode of 'Sympathetic Cells' (written by Jeongyeon and Kim Seongrae, directed by Kim Chil-bong), which airs on Lifetime at 10:50 PM on the 12th, the emotional trajectories of Cha Eun-hwan (Kim Myung-soo), Yoo Ji-an (Kang Min-ah), and Han Yi-jin (Kwon So-hyun) become increasingly intertwined, entering a new phase.
In previous episodes, Yoo experienced a shocking series of betrayals by those she trusted most. Agency CEO Kim Jun-sik immediately recruited her rival, Han Yi-jin, as a new talent as soon as Yoo, who refused to renew her contract, left the company. Even Dohoon, the manager who had been with her for a long time, chose to work for Han after rejecting Yoo's proposal. Despite appearing to have lost everything, Yoo expressed her resolve to make a comeback, stating, "Watch me closely right now. This is the last pathetic version of me you will ever see truly see."
Newly released stills draw attention by capturing an unexpected three-way encounter between Cha Eun-hwan, Yoo Ji-an, and Han Yi-jin. Cha, who went to meet his client Han, accidentally runs into Yoo, leading the three to share a conversation at a cafe.
While Cha briefly leaves the table, Yoo finds herself in a difficult situation when she is confronted by a reporter persistently digging into her power abuse controversy. However, Cha immediately steps in to block the reporter and protect her. Witnessing him shield her during moments of crisis, Yoo begins to harbor special feelings for him that transcend mere trust. Anticipation is building to see what will ultimately bring the two closer.
Meanwhile, Han, who has long harbored feelings for Cha that go beyond a counselor-client relationship, begins to waver as she watches him take meticulous care of Yoo. Although she joined the same agency to fill the void left by Yoo, the memory of being overshadowed by Yoo's popularity during their time in the girl group 'I Want' remains a deep wound. Even as an actress competing for the same roles, Han is expected to reveal her hidden jealousy as she watches the man she loves grow closer to Yoo.
As work, love, competition, and inferiority intersect, the emotions of the three characters clash sharply, heightening the drama's immersion. All eyes are on how their respective wounds and desires will drive their future choices.
The fourth episode of 'Sympathetic Cells' airs on the 12th at 10:50 PM on Lifetime, and will be available on U+tv Mobile (U+tv) and Disney+ at midnight on the 13th.
