Kim Sa-rang Appears at BBQ Restaurant After 600 Million Won Apartment Seizure: 'Did I Gain Weight?'

Actress Kim Sa-rang has drawn attention by sharing a glimpse of her daily life amidst a controversy involving unpaid taxes.

On the 27th, Kim Sa-rang posted a photo taken at a BBQ restaurant on her account, saying, "Let's just eat! Today! Did I gain weight? I like the song. Happiness is also gaining weight."

Appearing in a sporty outfit with a white shirt and a blue cap, she boasted a youthful look that belied her age of 48. As a former Miss Korea, her beauty and physique were beyond question.

On the 15th, she became embroiled in allegations of unpaid national taxes. An apartment in Gimpo, Gyeonggi-do, registered under her name, was seized by the Samsung Tax Office. As of January this year, the officially assessed price of the apartment was approximately 366,000,000 won, and the recent actual transaction market price is known to be around 600,000,000 won.

According to the National Tax Service, real estate seizures are carried out based on the officially assessed price rather than the actual transaction price, and a seizure can be placed on the entire property regardless of the scale of the unpaid tax amount.

As the controversy arose, Kim Sa-rang's side admitted the mistake on that day, stating, "It was wrong to have unpaid taxes. Moving forward, we will strictly check the payment schedule to ensure this does not happen again." It is reported that all currently unpaid taxes have been settled.

Kim Sa-rang made her debut in the entertainment industry in 2000 through the 44th Miss Korea pageant and has appeared in dramas such as 'This Damned Love', 'The King and I', 'Secret Garden', and 'Dear Eun-dong', as well as films like 'South and North Women' and 'Perfect Man'.
