Kim So Yeon and Kim Ji-seok to Star in JTBC's New Drama 'Rediscovery of Love'

JTBC's new drama 'Rediscovery of Love,' scheduled to air in the second half of this year, is already generating significant buzz. Anticipation for a hit is growing solely through word-of-mouth regarding its casting.

'Rediscovery of Love' depicts the process of a divorced ex-couple rediscovering each other's charms after working at the same workplace. Having married because they loved each other more passionately than anyone else, the two lost themselves within the roles of husband and wife. After divorcing, they face each other again in the same house and the same workplace, portraying the process of their transformation.

Kim So Yeon plays Jang Ha-gyeong, a contract worker at the front desk of the Jerabi Hotel VIP Club Lounge. After experiencing a career break due to marriage and childcare, and losing herself as a wife, daughter-in-law, and mother, Ha-gyeong returns to the hotel after her divorce. Through an unexpected turn of events, she begins a new life while sharing a house with her ex-husband.

Kim Ji-seok appears as Lee Dong-jin, the marketing deputy manager at the same hotel's VIP Club Lounge. After divorcing Ha-gyeong, he realizes something about married life and reunites with her after one year.

Yoon Hyun-min takes on the role of Park Mu-hyeok, a man with handsome looks and outstanding abilities. While unable to forget Ha-gyeong, whom he met nine years ago, he shows a determination never to let her go after their reunion.

Hwang Woo-seul-hye plays Oh Yu-mi, Ha-gyeong's close friend. She is a YouTuber who enjoys her own life, but behind her bright exterior, she is a character with complex emotions hidden away.

As such, 'Rediscovery of Love' is expected to provide empathy and emotion by humorously yet deeply exploring the differences between married life and divorced life through the unique setting of a 'share house' for divorced couples.
