Hyori-su requests '3 helicopters' from Show! Music Core staff
Girls' Generation members Hyoyeon, Yuri, and Sooyoung's project unit Hyori-su parodies rookie ambition in a hilarious negotiation with MBC staff.
Hyori-su, a project unit formed by Girls' Generation members Kim Hyo-yeon, Kwon Yu-ri, and Choi Sooyoung, engaged in a playful battle of wits with the production team of MBC's 'Show! Music Core' ahead of their debut. Their concept as 'rookie newcomers with maxed-out ambition'—requesting everything from helicopters and skydiving to a 30-minute ending stage—drew plenty of laughter.

On the 28th, a video titled 'Requests Hyori-su Made to Music Core' was released on the YouTube channel 'Hyoyeon's Level Up.'
The video captures Hyoyeon, Yuri, and Sooyoung visiting the 'Show! Music Core' production team to greet them with rice cakes ahead of their official debut. As true rookie groups would, the three members bowed politely with their hands joined, while also boosting the atmosphere by performing choreography on the spot.
However, once the actual 'negotiation' began, the atmosphere took an unexpected turn.
Claiming these were requirements for their performance production, Hyori-su poured out absurd requests to the staff, such as "Please fly 3 helicopters," "We want to make our entrance via skydiving," and "Please allocate about 30 minutes for the ending or opening stage." The sight of them casually listing realistically impossible demands added to the humor, as it was a setup parodying the boldness unique to rookies.
The production team struck back immediately.
The 'Show! Music Core' team responded wittily, saying, "Please adopt a rookie's attitude first," and "Shouldn't you first learn the 5th generation sensibility?" It is reported that laughter was continuous throughout the set as the two sides continued to exchange conditions that could never be met.
Fans showed an enthusiastic response as soon as the content was released.
Playful comments added to the fun of the content, with fans writing, "They are only talking about conditions that can't happen," "Adopting a rookie's attitude seems like the hardest mission of all," "It looks like they filmed a long process of negotiation breaking down rather than an actual negotiation," and "With this much ambition, they are already world stars."
Hyori-su is a project unit born through Hyoyeon's personal YouTube content, 'Hyoyeon's Level Up.' Formed by the united efforts of Hyoyeon, Yuri, and Sooyoung, the group has garnered attention since its reveal due to its concept parodying the former Girls' Generation unit Girls' Generation-TTS and the three members' sly variety show sensibilities.
With their official debut scheduled for the 31st of next month, the three members are meeting fans through various content, raising expectations with the cheerful charm unique to their 'not-really-a-rookie rookie' concept.
